In a continued effort to uplift tribal communities through sustainable development and welfare initiatives, Seek Foundation, under the leadership of its Founder Dr. Vimala Britto, donated Two ambulance, one load vehicle, and several tailoring machines total worth 50 lakhs and above to the tribal people of Kotagiri and Gudalur regions.

The event took place at St. Britto’s Academy (SBA), Chennai, in the presence of Mr. Alwas, Secretary of the Nilgiris Adhiwasi Welfare Association (NAWA), and Dr. Thamas Ponraj, Chief Executive of Seek Foundation. The initiative marks another milestone in the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to healthcare, livelihood, and community support in remote tribal regions.

As part of its welfare programs, Seek Foundation has already provided a fully equipped medical ambulance and supported the construction of 20 houses for tribal families in Gudalur, improving both emergency medical response and living conditions in the area.

Students of St. Britto’s Academy, along with staff members from Seek Foundation and NAWA, actively participated in the handover ceremony, which reflected the shared vision of empowering communities through education, health, and social responsibility.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Vimala Britto emphasized,

> “Every small step we take toward community welfare helps build a stronger and more compassionate society. Our goal is to bring essential services, skills, and dignity to underserved communities.”

The event concluded with gratitude expressed by few of tribal beneficiaries and Mr. Alwas, Secretary of NAWA, who appreciated Seek Foundation’s continuous support toward improving their quality of life.

இந்த விழா சென்னை செயின்ட் பிரிட்டோஸ் அகாடமி (SBA)யில் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் நிலகிரி பழங்குடியினர் நல சங்கத்தின் (NAWA) செயலாளர் திரு. ஆல்வாஸ் மற்றும் Seek Foundation தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரி, திரு. தாமஸ் பொன்ராஜ், செயிண்ட் பிரிட்டோஸ் அகாடமியின் முதல்வர் திருமதி மேரி வசந்தகுமாரி ஆகியோர் சிறப்பாக கலந்து கொண்டனர். இந்த முயற்சி, தொலை தூரத்தில் உள்ள பழங்குடியினர் பகுதிகளில் மருத்துவம், வாழ்க்கைத் திறன்கள் மற்றும் சமூக நலனை மேம்படுத்தும் சீக் Seek Foundation-னின் தொடர்ந்த அர்ப்பணிப்பை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்துகிறது.

இதற்கு முன்னர், Seek Foundation முழுமையாக சீரமைக்கப்பட்ட மருத்துவ ஆம்புலன்ஸை வழங்கியதுடன், கூடலூர் பகுதியில் 20 பழங்குடியினர் குடும்பங்களுக்கான வீடுகள் கட்டுவதற்கும் உதவியுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் அவ்விடங்களில் அவசர மருத்துவ சேவைகளும், வாழ்விட வசதிகளும் மேம்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

செயின்ட் பிரிட்டோஸ் அகாடமியின் மாணவர்களும், Seek Foundation, செயின்ட் பிரிட்டோஸ் அகாடமி மற்றும் NAWA ஊழியர்களும் உற்சாகமாக கலந்து கொண்டு சமூகப் பொறுப்பு, கல்வி மற்றும் நலனுக்கான தங்களின் பங்களிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.
