Chennai, 11 August 2026: On the birth anniversary of Mr. Vijayakumar A. Reddy, Savera Hotel hosted the 4th Edition of the KINDNESS AWARDS, a heartfelt initiative led by Ms. Nina Reddy, Managing Director of Savera Hotel, and supported by CHANGE A LIFE Charitable Trust (CAL). The annual awards continue to celebrate Mr. Vijayakumar A. Reddy's enduring legacy of compassion, making the occasion meaningful not only for his family but also for the countless lives touched by his kindness. 

A passionate animal lover, Mr. Vijayakumar A. Reddy was widely admired for his deep affection towards animals, especially stray and abandoned companions. Keeping his vision alive, Ms. Nina Reddy and her family has strengthened her commitment to promoting kindness, compassion, and responsible care for animals through the Kindness Awards. 

This year's edition honoured 15 individuals who have selflessly dedicated their lives to the welfare of animals. The awards recognize those who, despite personal and financial challenges, continue to go out of their way to reduce the pain and suffering of voiceless animals. In addition, 6 individuals whose unwavering support has significantly strengthened the animal welfare fraternity were felicitated for their invaluable contributions to the cause. 

Adding a joyful touch to the occasion, the event featured a vibrant pet ramp walk, with pets dressed up in colourful outfits by their proud parents, a delightful display of the love and affection shared between pets and their families.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Nina Reddy reiterated that compassion towards animals reflects the values of a humane society and encouraged the community to extendsupport in whatever way possible—through food, water, shelter, medical care, or financial assistance. 

Beyond animal welfare, Ms. Nina Reddy is widely recognized for her extensive contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through initiatives in education, healthcare, and community development. Her continued efforts have positively impacted numerous underserved communities across Tamil Nadu. 

The event, held at Hotel Savera, Chennai, brought together animal welfare advocates, volunteers, veterinarians, philanthropists, and members of the public to celebrate individuals whose quiet acts of kindness have created lasting change for voiceless animals.

சென்னை, ஆகஸ்ட் 11, 2026: திரு. விஜயகுமார் ஏ. ரெட்டி அவர்களின் பிறந்தநாளையொட்டி, சவேரா ஹோட்டல் நிர்வாக இயக்குநர் திருமதி. நீனா ரெட்டி தலைமையில் நடத்தப்படும் இதயம் கவரும் முயற்சியான "கருணை விருதுகள்" நிகழ்ச்சியின் 4வது பதிப்பை, சேஞ்ச் அ லைஃப் சாரிடபிள் டிரஸ்ட் (CAL) ஆதரவுடன் சவேரா ஹோட்டல் நடத்தியது. திரு. விஜயகுமார் ஏ. ரெட்டி அவர்களின் கருணை நிறைந்த மரபை தொடர்ந்து போற்றும் வகையில், இந்த ஆண்டு விருது வழங்கும் விழா அவரது குடும்பத்தினருக்கு மட்டுமின்றி, அவரது கருணையால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட எண்ணற்ற உயிர்களுக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சி தரும் நிகழ்வாக அமைந்தது.

விலங்குகள் மீது தீவிர பற்று கொண்டவராக விளங்கிய திரு. விஜயகுமார் ஏ. ரெட்டி, குறிப்பாக தெருவில் வாழும் மற்றும் கைவிடப்பட்ட விலங்குகளின் மீது ஆழ்ந்த பாசம் கொண்டிருந்தார். அவரது இந்த கனவை நிலைநிறுத்தும் வகையில், திருமதி. நீனா ரெட்டி மற்றும் அவரது குடும்பத்தினர், கருணை விருதுகள் மூலம் விலங்குகள் மீதான கருணை, பரிவு மற்றும் பொறுப்புணர்வுடன் கூடிய பராமரிப்பை ஊக்குவிக்கும் தங்களது அர்ப்பணிப்பை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர்.

இந்த ஆண்டு நிகழ்வில், விலங்குகளின் நலனுக்காக தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையையே அர்ப்பணித்த 15 நபர்களுக்கு விருது வழங்கி கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டது. தனிப்பட்ட மற்றும் நிதி ரீதியான சவால்களுக்கு மத்தியிலும், குரல் கொடுக்க முடியாத விலங்குகளின் வேதனையை குறைக்க தொடர்ந்து பாடுபடுபவர்களை இந்த விருதுகள் கௌரவிக்கின்றன. மேலும், விலங்கு நல சமூகத்தை வலுப்படுத்துவதில் தங்களது தளராத ஆதரவை வழங்கிய 6 நபர்களும் அவர்களது மதிப்புமிக்க பங்களிப்புக்காக கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டனர்.

நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு மேலும் மகிழ்ச்சி சேர்க்கும் வகையில், செல்லப்பிராணிகளின் அன்பான உரிமையாளர்களால் வண்ணமயமாக அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட செல்லப்பிராணிகள் கலந்துகொண்ட ரேம்ப் வாக் ஒன்றும் நடத்தப்பட்டது, இது செல்லப்பிராணிகளுக்கும் அவற்றின் உரிமையாளர்களுக்கும் இடையேயான அன்பையும் பாசத்தையும் அழகாக வெளிப்படுத்தியது.

இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய திருமதி. நீனா ரெட்டி, விலங்குகள் மீதான கருணை ஒரு மனிதாபிமான சமூகத்தின் மதிப்புகளை பிரதிபலிக்கிறது என்று வலியுறுத்தி, உணவு, தண்ணீர், தங்குமிடம், மருத்துவ பராமரிப்பு அல்லது நிதி உதவி என எந்த வகையிலும் ஆதரவு அளிக்குமாறு சமூகத்தை கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

விலங்கு நலனுக்கு அப்பால், கல்வி, சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் சமூக மேம்பாடு ஆகிய துறைகளில் தனது பரந்த பணியின் மூலம் திருமதி. நீனா ரெட்டி, பெருநிறுவன சமூகப் பொறுப்பு (CSR) பணிகளுக்காக பரவலாக அறியப்படுகிறார். அவரது தொடர்ச்சியான முயற்சிகள் தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள ஏராளமான வசதி குறைந்த சமூகங்களுக்கு நேர்மறையான தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளன.

சென்னை ஹோட்டல் சவேராவில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில், விலங்கு நல ஆதரவாளர்கள், தொண்டர்கள், கால்நடை மருத்துவர்கள், பரோபகாரிகள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்கள் ஒன்றுகூடி, குரல் கொடுக்க முடியாத விலங்குகளுக்காக நீடித்த மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்திய அமைதியான கருணைச் செயல்களைக் கொண்ட நபர்களைப் போற்றினர்.
