The morning ride brought together cycling enthusiasts, travel partners, and fitness communities with the shared goal of encouraging Indian participation in one of Penang’s signature cycling events. The initiative also highlights Malaysia’s continued focus on sports tourism as part of the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY2026) campaign.
Flagged off at 5:45 AM from Pharos Hotel, Nungambakkam, the ride covered the route Pharos Hotel → Marina Light House U Turn → Pharos Hotel, reflecting the growing enthusiasm among Chennai cyclists for international cycling experiences. The event promoted themes of unity, wellness, and community bonding—values that resonate strongly with both Malaysia and India.
