Six Books as part of the Apollo Clinical Book Series

Apollo Hospitals Group announced the launch of its latest academic initiative – the Apollo Clinical Book Series, with the release of six medical book series aimed at equipping clinicians with contemporary insights into evolving clinical practice and emerging therapies to enhance patient care. 

The Apollo Clinical Book Series reflects Apollo’s ongoing commitment to medical excellence, academic advancement, and continuous professional education.

The foreword for “Cardiology Update 2026” and “Contemporary Issues in Nephrology Practice” has been written by Dr Prathap C. Reddy, Founder and Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group; the foreword for “Breast Cancer” has been written by Dr Preetha Reddy, Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Group; the foreword for “Stroke” has been written by Dr Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group; the foreword for “Obesity and its Contemporary Management” has been writtenby Dr Shobana Kamineni, Promoter Director Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. and Executive Chairperson Apollo Health Co Ltd and the foreword for “Diabetes Mellitus” has been written by Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director Apollo Hospitals Group and Managing Director Apollo Health & Lifestyle Limited. 

Speaking at the launch, Dr Prathap C Reddy, Founder Chairman Apollo Hospitals Group, said,“The Apollo Clinical Book Series has been conceptualized to provide evidence-based, practical, and contemporary medical knowledge across major therapeutic areas that continue to shape global healthcare priorities. Each book brings together contributions from leading Apollo clinicians, academicians, and subject experts, offering readers comprehensive reviews, emerging treatment approaches, current guidelines, and real-world clinical perspectives”.

Dr Preetha Reddy said, “The book on Breast Cancer bridges medical science and patient awareness, encouraging proactive healthcare decisions and reinforcing the message that early diagnosis significantly improves outcomes. As healthcare professionals continue advancing breast cancer care, educational initiatives like this book play a crucial role in spreading awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting preventive healthcare”

Dr Suneeta Reddy said,

“Stroke is a time-sensitive neurological emergency where early recognition and immediate medical intervention are critical to improving survival and recovery outcomes. This book serves as an important educational resource, promoting awareness about prevention, diagnosis, acute management, and rehabilitation in stroke care.”

Dr. Shobana Kamineni said,“Obesity is a complex, chronic disease that demands a comprehensive and sustained approach. This book is a timely effort to equip clinicians with the latest evidence and multidisciplinary strategies to address this growing challenge.” 

 Dr. Sangita Reddy added, “Diabetes continues to be one of the biggest healthcare challenges facing India. Strengthening clinical knowledge and promoting evidence-based care are critical to improving patient outcomes and reducing long-term complications.”

The Apollo Clinical Book Series was led by Editor-in-Chief Dr. (Prof.) Raju Vaishya and Co-Editor-in-Chief Dr. (Prof.) Anupam Sibal, who have guided the development of these high-impact, clinician-focused publications.
